← The ShellPitThe ShellPit is the public memory of Terrible Turtle Camp — our Burning Man 2026 build at Phoenix Gulch. It's full of real people: building, laughing, cursing at rebar, talking story at dusk. That's the whole point.
And that's exactly why this page exists. Consent here is a living door — it opens both ways. You can be in the archive today and gone from it tomorrow. You can be in by camp consensus today and add your own personal yes — or your own personal no — any day after. Nothing on this site — no clip, no photo, no transcript, no good story — is worth more than a single person's comfort.
On 2026-08-01, the whole Terrible Turtle camp reached consent consensus — a collective decision to show & tell the shell to the world. All 35 videos and 15 photos are cleared to publish, together, by the camp itself.
In the ledger, every item's stamp moved pending → assumed (2026-07-29, the launch) and now assumed → explicit (2026-08-01, the consensus). Every stamp is public and machine-checkable, and the full history is kept — we never erase how we got here.
And it's not just the footage. On 2026-08-05 Shaka confirmed it plain — "for turtles there is full consensus" — so the camp's meeting transcripts, camp data and intel digests on this site are covered by the same collective grant. That extension is stamped in the ledger too (coverage-extension-0002), with the same honest framing: a camp-wide yes, not per-person signatures — and the same one-email door out for anyone, anytime.
"Consensus" is not 35 signatures. Say it plain: this is the camp deciding together, as a camp — not each person signing their own name one by one. We're collecting those individual yeses too, and the ledger will celebrate every one. But we won't pretend the group agreement is the same thing as your personal yes. Your personal no still beats the whole consensus, instantly.
Individual explicit yeses are being collected campmate by campmate, on top of the consensus. And anyone can overrule the consensus at any moment — no permission from us needed, because it was never ours to give.

🌐 One window for every pit. This is the universal consent address for the entire P.I.T. universe — the ShellPit, the Esmeralda P.I.T., and every fork that will ever exist. Takedowns and permission grants flow through the same door, and the door never sleeps: the consent inbox is checked every morning.
Helpful (but fully optional): mention which clip or photo, and roughly when you appear. Even that is optional — if all you send is "remove me," we'll find you, or we'll pull everything you might be in until you're sure.
The inbox is stewarded by the pit fam — via the Admiral & Terri 🐢. Real humans. They read every word.
