A residency in a Berlin garden. Cryptography days, interop, protocol & MEV, 25 zkVMs โ and one legendary jam. Every session cataloged, every word transcribed โ a knowledge transponder for the garden: press play, and the words glow as they're spoken. Free for everyone to relive, remix, and carry forward.
Every session opens the same way ๐ โ a tiny window plays the talk in the corner, small on purpose (garden wifi forgives small pictures), the Berlin dawn breathes behind it, and below, the transcript glows paragraph by paragraph as it's spoken โ calm, no chasing. Tap any paragraph to jump there. Want the big picture? Expand the window โ with love and aloha, forgive a little latency. The words carry everything.
P.I.T. is the Knowledge Transponder's true backronym โ and it's named twice over. For the orchestra pit, where the musicians sit: the ones who make the sound the whole room dances to, rarely in the spotlight, always holding the signal. And in honor of OSO P.I.T. โ Shaka's ETHGlobal Delhi hackathon winner (Most Creative Use of ENS), where the pit first got its name.

And the pit is only just beginning โ onward, sharing this openly with communities everywhere, for all: the open transponding of knowledge. The pit provides! ๐ช๐ณ๏ธ
In 2025, a garden grew on a Berlin rooftop: ZuBerlin โ an immersive residency where top researchers and genuinely kind humans built the decentralized, human-friendly future. Cryptography days, interop days, a data wizardry day, a jam that never wanted to end. The garden's knowledge shouldn't compost โ so the lineage forked a fifth time, and the fork took the garden's name and gave it a swagger: Zu + Ber(lin) + pit = The ZuBerPit โ the pit that provides รผber everything. ๐ฉ๐ช
This is the lineage's fifth fork. From The ZuitzPIT, sibling to PatagoniaPIT, 4SeasPIT and PraguePIT โ all from The Esmeralda P.I.T. genesis (149 sessions ยท 122 hours ยท 138 synced transcripts ยท โ$0). Same DNA, garden blood: the Knowledge Transponder, the radical honesty, the โ$0 static architecture.
Everything here is open. Watch it, read it, quote it, teach with it, remix it into your own garden. The knowledge belongs to the commons โ open source the knowledge, not just the music.
๐ฟ๏ธ The legend of the squirrel. Garden lore holds that even a squirrel made it onstage at ZuBerlin โ darting across the stage mid-panel with Barnabรฉ, Dankrad, Justin Drake, and Vitalik. The garden belonged to everyone, two legs or four. Your mouse here wears the squirrel in its honor.
And if you want to build with it โ the whole pit is on GitHub: this site, the data, the transcripts, and the pipeline that harvested them. Everything open-sourced CC0. Fork me like crazy. ๐ด
